This window displays the status of the Rule processors and enables you to stop and restart them. If the green light on the left is lit, then all Rule Processors are running. If the yellow light in the middle is lit, then some Rule Processors are running and some are not. If the red light on the right is lit, then all Rule Processors are stopped. To display this window, click the Rule Processor icon in System Administration.

Displays the number of Rule Processors defined for this node. This field appears once for each node. |
Start |
Starts the Rule Processors defined for the current partition after you have stopped them. |
Stop |
Stops the Rule Processors defined for the current partition. |
Enable Monitor |
Enables the Rule Processor monitor, which notifies the Response administrator of any messages stuck in the Rule Processor. The administrator can take action to remove stuck messages from the Rule Processor to avoid an accumulation of stuck messages that can slow down the rule processing rate. |
Monitor Sleep time (in minutes) |
Indicates the number of minutes that the monitor waits before gathering more information from the Rule Processor. |
Notify if Pending Message count exceeds |
Notifies user when pending messages exceed the specified number. |
Outgoing messages take priority in Rule Processor |
This option will instruct the Rule Processor to process outgoing messages ahead of incoming messages. |
