Secure Messaging Setup

Following are the steps necessary to set up Secure Messaging. These steps can be done in any order; however, the following is the suggested order.

To set up Secure Messaging in System Administration:

  1. Determine the server that you are going to use to connect to the Response Secure Messaging system.

  2. Click the Mail Receiver icon to display the Mail Receiver window.

    1. Click Edit POP Mailboxes or Edit SOAP Mailboxes.

    2. Click Add.

    3. Enter the required information.  

      • See New POP Mailbox if you are setting up a POP mailbox.

      • See New SOAP Mailbox if you are setting up a SOAP mailbox. Also, when using SOAP, you must set up Mailbox groups.

  d.  Select  the Trusted box.

  e.  Click OK when you are finished.

  1. Click the Mail Sender icon to display the Mail Sender window.

  1. Select the Default from address from the menu in the Parameters section of the window.

  2. Click Save.

To set up Secure Messaging in Content Administration:

  1. Select Mail Settings from the menu.

  2. In the Secure Messaging area of the window and determine which settings you want to apply to Secure Messages. See the Secure Messaging section under Mail Settings for help on selecting these options.

  3. Select Rules from the menu.

Select or create rules for Secure Messaging. You can do this by selecting or creating Attributes and Actions.
